PROJECT OVERVIEW
We joined Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia of Kuching Branch to collect recyclable items in UNIMAS area. A classification progress will be done after the recyclable items had been collected. All of the recyclable items will send to Tzu Chi center for further operation. More knowledge will gained after you experience it instead of talk but didn't take any action. We were taught to recycle in smart way. It will make the following step easier. For example, wash the can before you throw it to recycle bin and identify the rubbish that can be recycled and cannot be recycled.
AIM
The aim of this project is to plan and carry out a project in sustainability for the community of UNIMAS.
OBJECTIVES
-Promote the 5R concept (reduce, reuse, recycle, refuse, repair) globally so as to build a society through the effective use of resources and materials.
-Organize activities that cooperation with Tzu Chi to had personally experience of 5R concept.
-Instill environmental knowledge to raise the awareness of environmental protection among us.
-Increase a better appreciation for a green and healthy environment to save energy and money, and to reduce waste and pollutions.
